I was invited back by Rewire Festival in 2026 to host a panel talk with musicians Milkweed, Sacred Lodge and Park Jiha focussing on  the uses of folklore in music and the ways that they interpolate their stories into their own compositions.

I had the pleasure of visiting Wuppertal recently. While I was excited to visit Openground, the storied new nightclub that's captured the imagination of the European music community, I had also been wanting to visit for some time because of the Schwebebahn suspension railway.

What struck was how both club and railway were so futuristic, yet so old-fashioned in this strange post-industrial NRW town.
